ACS Global Services was founded as a 4PL provider in Shanghai in 2009 by a group of professionals with extensive experience in freight forwarding, marketing and international trade.
The idea for the company came as a response to the needs¡¯ changes in the field of international transportation and logistics for both forwarders and direct customers ¨C each side recognized the need for more flexible partnerships and the importance of choosing the right partner for each trade line, each origin, each mode of transportation etc. It got clear that there is no ¡°one-fits-all¡± solution. It is nearly impossible to find a provider that is equally good in all modes of transportation, has great operations at each origin and can provide additional logistics service (warehousing, insurance, order management etc.) at a high level.
Of course for a country as large as China many problems arise for those who dec ide to experiment with new partnerships ¨C lack of knowledge of who is good in what and where, language barrier, different operational systems and a lack of unified on-line platform to monitor existing business, lack of quality follow-up on sales leads and bad customer service at origin AND this is where ACS Global Services found its place. Our mission is to build a bridge between different parties in the field of freight forwarding and logistics so that everyone can find their right partner, thus get bet better service at a lower cost. And since ACS Global Services is neither a freight forwarder nor a direct logistics provider in the general meaning we are have no exclusive agreements in China and are free to constantly research and change, seeking the solutions for our customers needs.
